Suspicious telemarketing calls are using the American Chronic Pain Association and BlueCross/Blue Shield in a scam for a pain cream.  

The ACPA does not:

• Share personal information, including contact information, about any participant in our programs with third parties.
• Ask members to provide personal insurance, banking, or other sensitive information.
• Endorse or promote any specific medication, intervention, or treatment for pain management.

If you are contacted by anyone purporting to represent the ACPA, you can call our toll-free number (800- 533-3231) to confirm the validity of the call.  If the call is fraudulent, please do the following:
